The Communications Department forms communication between the Museum and the society offering different possibilities for education. Museum specialists offer guided tours for visitors of all ages, kinds and levels of knowledge in Latvian, Russian, German, and English.

In the Museum there are organised events and lectures on permanent displays and exhibitions for different kinds of audience.

Drawing activities in the educational project Me and Art is aimed for visitors, who want to develop and deepen their understanding of art. Activities are divided in two parts: theoretical and practical. Activities are leaded by Museum’s curators of education. Every year, before closing the season, the best works of program's participants are displayed at a special exhibition in the Creative Workshop of the Arsenāls Exhibition Hall.
